So, so on point! Especially, the last four, at least for me.

Well, let me tell you a story. Tonight I decided I needed to play some Star Ocean, on the Switch, as you do. When, something happened.

I was ready to roll out with my crew.

Minding our business. Exploring the wilderness.

Then these guys showed up!

We fought bravely, we fought well. But ultimately, we got our assess handed.

Just to keep me motivated I’ve come up with a silly idea. Starting today, well, this week, I will make a note of how many pull-ups I did on my workout that day. Like I’ve said just a silly thing to make things interesting and fun, also for my own tracking. See how I progress and then see where I am at by the end of the year and the total amount recorded.

But like every other idea (and or project) I have, I might drop it without notice or just forget about it. It’s a thing that happens often, either I get distracted or bored or just forget!

That being said, I will try my best to stay on it.

I was late today and I totally blame my one-year-old (Luna). I mean, it’s not like I have a tight schedule, as long as I show up around the time I am usually around. My job’s pretty loose when it comes to that, which is kind of nice, as long as you don’t abuse it of it that is. It is kind of hard to get off the bed when the girls are yet sleeping, it’s not all the time that happens, except that it is not the weekend 👎.

Well, it was more like 50/50 their fault. I normally wear my Apple Watch to bed and have set my alarm to no sound. All I get is the watch vibrating on my wrtist, that way I don’t wake up anybody. So typically even if the girls are still sleeping I’d get out of the bed and get ready – not today. I think at one point I meant to snooze the alarm and I might accidentally turn it off instead. Ups!

I loath, slow days! Too much time in my hands! And I get bored. And then I start fiddling with things. I start messing up with my site, messing up with my iPhone’s home screen and breaking things because that’s what you do. I don’t like it, at all. But at least it made me realize that the fact I keep changing things around, at least on my website, is not that I am not a hundred percent happy with the look or whatever. The problem is that I just get bored and fiddling with my site keeps me busy and “entertained”. I have somewhat found a “healthy” way to do so. Instead of fiddling with my blog-site, I can use the test-blog-site to play around without actually changing my principal blog-site.

My phone, well it is kind of the same, if I get bored I will start messing and moving things around just because. Also having nothing to do makes up for an opportunity to overthink stuff and guessing every desition I have made so far. Do I really need this task-manager (🔔) app? Or. Do I really want to keep my Instagram and or twitter….ect, etc?

And also allows for insignificant posts like this one.

The 80’s kid in me is very excited about this! Always been a huge fan of Masters of the Universe. I remember watching the cartoons and having the actions figures and all that good stuff. Oh! And, Remember the Masters of the Universe movie from 1987?

I loved that movie when I was a kid. Which I kind of want to rewatch now but I’m afraid it won’t hold up 😅. Perhaps it’s one of those movies that I am better of with the memories. Plus I don’t think it’s on any streaming platform that I know of, so, there’s that.

I got new kicks today! Part of my new job’s responsibilities it to go out to field grow-outs, for whichever crop and get data from them. A few months back I got my first chance to go out to the fields and it did go very well, for the most part. But my boots though, they were killing me! When I first joined the company, one of the first things the had me do was to pick up some boots. With little experience working on the field, previously I was just a lab rat pretty much, I got what I thought was good for the job. Well, they are very amazing boots but also way too heavy and probably much more than what I really needed.

I expressed this to my manager when I got back from my trip and she suggested to get hiking boots instead. It made sense, they’re still (most of them) water proof, good grip and — most importantly — they are lightweight.

So I got me some Merrell Moab 2 Ventilator Mid Hiking Boots at our local REI.

I was very torn between getting these on blue rather than brown. Who would have thought that buying a pair of boots could have been so difficult, in a way.

Ultimately I went for the brown ones. These are going to be used in places where there will be dirt, sand and mud. So it seemed brown to be the more practical ones.

They are extremely comfortable! I am very happy with my purchase, so far.

We all have our issues with the social media silos and especially with twitter. Most of us claim there’s a lot of hate, harassment and anger, among other stuff. However, I can say that I have been pretty good keeping the things mentioned above out off my timeline for the most part. Definitely not a hundred percent but tolerable enough. Until recently! Recently I started to follow more people from back home (Puerto Rico)and I gotta say, I now see more hate and outrage (for a good reasons, though) than ever in my timeline. Yes, there are fucked-up things happening in the island right now and people are outraged — as they should. But after a while it becomes too much, and more so when they use the current situation to spread rage and anger about other stuff that have nothing to do to the original issue. And that’s when I get an issue with and my twitter timeline becomes intolerable. I should have stayed following the same three Puerto Rican cats.

I have always found fascinating the ‘power’ of music. How I can transport us, awake emotions and even bring back good — or bad — memories.

Tonight for example, for whatever reason, this album came up. Like for some reason I thought of it. Results May Vary by Limp Bizkit, it’s not my favourite Limp Bizkit album, as far as the music in it but the memories I get, makes it the best. I have so many awesome memories related to the time this album came out and I was listening to it.

Also the song Behind Blue Eyes, which as we all know it’s a cover from The Who. It reminds me of the Gothika movie. I remember watching this movie at the cinema, not exactly what I thought it was gonna be for sure. This was sometime in college, second or third year of. Fun times!

I like,that I am back into my working-out-healthy lifestyle again. I enjoy going out to the gym almost every bight and get my workout done, and still, I feel like it’s not enough. I sometimes feel like I’m just doing the bare minimum, that I don’t push myself hard enough. I guess is the problem with not having a gym-partner or being part of a class. I want to do more, I would love being part of a class or maybe get into CrossFit, or similar. Treat it more like an actual sport and train like so. Do better nutrition and more healthy choices than the ones I have now. Maybe a full transformation of sorts.

I’m rocking the most metal lock-screen wallpaper ever!

I remember reading, or probably hearing somewhere about all of us have a morning routine, or more like a ritual before doing wroky stuff. For example, every morning when I arrive at the office, I am usually not done with my coffee so I dock the computer, unlock it and open chrome, coffee on hand. The first thing I do is to open Micro.blog on the browser, check for any mentions I might have missed while I was slumbering. Then I scroll down the timeline. As I scroll down I may see some blog posts people have posted and I open those on a different tab and keep scrolling ( 🎶 keep scrollin', scrollin', scrollin' (what?)… Now I know why’all be lovin' this shit right here 🎶 – No doesn’t ring a bell, alright) and opening new tabs. Then I read those blog posts. Soon after I go to the Feedbin website to see what’s on my RSS feed, only to find out the same posts I have already read from the micro.blog timeline, or at least most of them. By then I have had finished my coffee and on to worky stuff.
