Last night, the West Ada School District Board of Trustees approved a motion to remove the notification of Covid-19 positive cases within the school environment to parents. Previously, parents/guardians were notified if a confirmed positive case was present in one or more of their student’s classrooms. Board members discussed the pros and cons of the notifications and in a 3-2 vote approved discontinuing these notification letters. The Board also directed the administration to start the creation of an endemic plan for current and next school year.
