The purpose of this letter is to give two weeks’ notice of my resignation…

Today I received a very welcomed — and sort of unexpected — call. This week as you all know I had my in-person interview for a new role at another company. Today, the hiring manager extended an offer, which I have accepted! I am so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to collaborate with this amazing team! I am also grateful for the experience and the people I ave met at my current job but it’s time to move on. And so, I just gave my two weeks notice today. I’m not going to lie, I can’t help but to feel weird about it, like a sense of guilt by leaving. It is not the first time I’ve felt this way when leaving a position or company, except when I left HP, that job sucked!

Anyway, cheers to new adventures!

BREAKING: Puerto Rico’s Governor had apparently agreed to resign today, but broke his word that he gave to legislators, so now the Speaker of the House of Representatives will make good on his word to impeach the Governor.

This truly scares me! I’m afraid that if he doesn’t resings, tonight, things might get out off hand. Cops with riot’s gear and correction agents with special training.

It’s done! Thank you everyone for the good wishes. I had my interview this morning and I think it went pretty good, I feel good about it. It was a 2-hour-long, give or take, conversation and I felt pretty comfortable with the interviewers. Not too much trouble answering all their the technical and behavioral questions (didn’t find myself ending every answer with “and stuff”, which I tend to do sometimes 🤦🏻‍♂️). I also got to asked lots of questions regarding the role and the expectations of it. It was really exciting learning more about both the role and the company and how can my skills can be of benefit to the team. Also learned that this is a whole new position/role within the team, so it looks like it will be a learning experience for everyone and that excites me!

Now, all I can do is wait to hear back from, someone. Hopefully it’ll be soon and with good news!

Tomorrow, is the day, I’m having my in-person interview and I am very scared! Or is it anxious? Or Nervous? All of the above? Too many emotions, if I’m being honest. I want this so badly that I’m scared that I may screw up. I am nervous about the interview process itself (can’t really help it I guess). I’m probably overthinking it, as I do, I want to think positive and that I will do fine. I am scheduled for 3-hour-long interview and the first thing that comes to mind is a practical. I have no idea of what to expect and that’s what’s getting me so anxious!
