Falling asleep should be easy and natural.
If you find yourself in bed trying to fall asleep for more than 15-20 minutes, then it might be a better idea to get up. Do something quiet and relaxing but not stimulating, such as reading a book, tidy up your desk or listen to some relaxing music. It will help you relax, unwind and eventually feel sleepy.
Perhaps this is something I should try to keep in mind and practice.
My oldest cracks me up every time she says “toast, no crust” she doesn’t understand why but if you know, you know 😅
Got this today on my super-secret sleeping tracking app (Pillow).
According to recent surveys, most of us dream in color. However, a small percentage reports that their dreams are often in black and white. Oddly enough this percentage used to be higher a few decades ago when people used to own black and white TVs.
I thought it was interesting.
