  • All Day by Girl Talk

Well it’s going to be a Girl Talk, All Day kind of day. If you like Mash-Ups and free music, you definetly need to check out All Day by Girl Talk. It makes for excelent background music for busy days on front of the computer, like today. I think I discovered this album back in the now retired (so sad, it was probably my favorite Relay FM show) The Inquisitive Show were Myke Hurley and Serenity Caldwell talked about it. Which I think you can still listen here. Great album!

  • Something I liked this week Volume 19.

    Scissor Seven on Netflix

Seeking to recover his memory, a scissor-wielding, hairdressing, bungling quasi-assassin stumbles into a struggle for power among feuding factions.

This show! This show It’s ridiculous, very silly and full of action! I love this kind of anime shows! It is as if One-Punch Man and Kill la Kill had a baby! Love it!

Also watching (or re-watching rather) Saint Seiya, the original from 1986! Not the new one, that one, it’s not as good.

  • This game for the Switch looks kinda badass! Fight’N Rage.

Set in a far future where humans are enslaved by mutants, Fight’N Rage is a side-scroller beat’em up inspired by the classics from the 90’s arcade gems.

  • Auf Wiedersehen Facebook.

According to my DayOne, it was a year ago when I announced I was going to close my Facebook by the end of the month.

    …

I will be deleting this account on January 31st. If you need my number or email or any of the sorts, feel free to shot me a PM. My instagram will remain active, for now, but probably not for long — I think. Still debating on that one.

    Anyway,

    Hope we keep in touch!

    Auf Wiedersehen!

I would have thought it had been longer than that. It kind of feels like its been. I have not missed it.

  • Less Puerto Rican than I used to be?

Tonight, right after the gym, I had to do a quick run to the store. As I was walking out back my car from the store I saw… I didn’t quite make out whether the were teenagers or adults, I just saw bodies (there’s almost no illumination and the parking lot was empty) walking towards me. So, I get in the car and the first thing I did was to lock it. This is something I never do. My car doesn’t lock by itself automatically like most modern cars, you have to manually push the button to lock it. I never do this, not here, and by here I mean since I live in Boise, Idaho. This is something I would have done if I was in living down in Puerto Rico and even if nobody was around. Which made start thinking about the conversation I had with Greg on his show …and you are? If living in Puerto Rico sort of shaped who I am here, or something like that.

In Puerto Rico I remember my guard was always on high alert. You never know what’s gonna happen, you need to at least try to be on all your five senses. You never leave your car unlocked or your house, never ever leave anything personal unattended, that kind of stuff. Even something simple as been courteous to others. At least from the time I come from. You never say hi to a stranger, to people you don’t know, you trust no one. I am not sure how things are now and I hope they are much better but back in my days it was dry and a little rough.

When I moved to the states, to Boise, I still had some of that malice, some of that distrust and awareness at first. Which of course after the years it has definitely changed. For example, I the first time someone random, someone I didn’t know said to me “how’s it going!?” or may favorite “howdy!”, it was such a foreign thing to me! Accepting that people can be nice to you even if they don’t know you was somewhat hard to get used to.

Anyway, after all this years living here I feel like I am “less Puerto Rican”, on the sense that have let down my guard a bit — lost some of that malice. You have no idea how many times we have slept with the front or the back door unlocked (by mistake of course), the garage opened or how many times I have left my car unlocked and trust that nothing will go wrong 😅.

I don’t know, it’s one of those things that I rarely think about these days, except for tonight.

  • Stickers, stickers, stickers.

I ❤️ stickers! Always have, always will and thus many of my tech has and will have stickers. Here’s how my 2017 MacBook Pro 💻 (no Touch Bar) it’s looking as of today (2020-13-01). And as you can all see there’s room for improvement. So if you’ve got some spare stickers, get it touched! 😜🙏🏼🤙🏼

  • So, Luna (1yo), is starting to give signs that she’s about to start to walk by herself soon. She stands up and she holds it for a while and then…. she busts some dancing moves and drops down to the floor. 😅😂

  • I just wanna cut it.

I have been having this crazy thought about cutting my hair off, like very short. I know this is a very silly thing to probably post about. As I grow older, I also grow lazier (😅) and I am tired of having to fix my wild Puerto Rican hair every morning. Wouldn’t it be easier if I had it short enough so that I wouldn’t have to fix it? Plus I’d save money on haircuts and hair products!

Just watch the second I post this my hair is going to start falling off and I’d regret everything I’ve just said.

  • Watchmen Season 2?

    Fandom:

#Watchmen showrunner Damon Lindelof ‘hopes’ there’s a S2 but he probably won’t be involved — ‘Everything I had to say with ‘Watchmen’ I said in these nine episodes’ (via @Variety) pic.twitter.com/VoKVwtGy9t

I very much agree with Damon here, the show was (is) great the way it is with the episodes we got. Yes, the nerdy in me would like to see more, simply because 😅 but again, to me, those nine episodes are perfect.

  • Podcast appearance: and you are?

and you are? by Greg Morris

I had a lot of fun chatting with Greg. I don’t do podcasting very often so I apologize in advance. Again, it was a lot of fun. I want to thank Greg for the invite and hopefully this will encourage me to start my own microcast or something. I think I should do this more often. Definitely need to get better equipment for sure, the Power Beats Pros alone won’t cut it. 😊😁

  • Puerto Ricans ROCK!

It is very sad what’s going on in my country of origin, Puerto Rico, right now with the all the earthquakes. We aren’t used to that, we aren’t prepared for this kind of event. Hurricanes, sure bring it on! We are used to it, we can handle it. But earthquakes? That’s a whole different game. And yet we come together, they come together as one to overcome this adversity, they help each other, we/they are strong people! Love seeing all the videos and pictures of people from other parts of the island in caravans, carrying the Puerto Rican flag 🇵🇷, delivering necessities, bringing aide and helping out the people in the towns affected.

What pisses me off though, about the whole situation are the (F-bomb) politicians of the island. They take advantage of the situation to promote themselves. They take advantage of people’s necessities and their struggle to do stupid politics !!! People are suffering, people are struggling and they are doing campaign in the middle of all of it instead actually helping! Obviously we don’t need these idiots! We do way better without them as a country.

(F-bomb) politics, especially in times like these. It’s about the people and the help they need! Keep the damn politics out of it!

My heart and thoughts go to all my fellow Puerto Ricans. I know they’ll overcome this. Puerto Ricans fucking ROCK!

  • Okay, I really would love to get back into comics. I miss sitting down with the iPad and enjoy a good comic book story. Or even a physical book. But I rather stay digital. Physical books and comic books boxes can take too much space. What I have been debating is whether I want to do Marvel Unlimited or Comixology Unlimited.
